Deji Adebusoye - Partner - Sahel Capital
Sahel is a leading private investment firm focused on the food and agriculture sectors in Sub-Saharan Africa. Deji leads the Social Enterprise Fund for Agriculture in Africa (SEFAA), providing capital to SMEs in 13 countries.
Deji has a strong background in investment and operations, having previously held senior roles at Syngenta Crop Protection AG, including head of operations in Nigeria and Global Portfolio Operations Manager in Switzerland. He began his career at Procter & Gamble, building systems and processes across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Deji is a passionate advocate for African entrepreneurs and the author of “Scaling for Success: Empowering African SMEs”. He is an African-Asia Impact Investing (AAII) Fellow and a Centre for African Leaders in Agriculture (CALA) Fellow4. Deji holds a first-class degree in chemical engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University and an MBA from INSEAD Business School.
Ayesha Ansari - Director of Data & AI products - Sage
Ayesha manages Data, AI & Digital products at Sage to provide meaningful and tangible insights for the Small and Medium business segment. Ayesha is currently using various cloud, Data and AI technologies to roll-out innovative products and generate new commercial value propositions. Additionally, she leads Sage’s Data for Good program to impact public policies for SMBs through Sage’s data and research efforts. Prior to this role, Ayesha was a Vice President at J.P. Morgan, and spent more than a decade there in various strategic roles. Through her time at JP Morgan, Ayesha has held roles in the Payments, Securities Clearing, Securities Lending and rates businesses. Her last role at JPM was leading the SWIFT Global Payments Innovation Product & Program within transaction banking and its commercialisation across EMEA, NA and APAC. Ayesha is a thought leader on Data & AI and is frequently invited to various industry events as a contributor. She leads by example and is a big advocate of great culture, support and DE&I within her teams and is also the UK&I Gender Alliance Network lead for Sage.
Phillip Bate - Director of Business Banking - Triodos Bank UK
Phillip manages a team of co-workers covering all aspects of lending, corporate finances and lending operations at Triodos. He first joined the business banking team in 2018 as a Relationship Manager and was most recently the Team Leader for South West and Midlands, before taking on his current position in January 2023. Prior to his roles at Triodos, Phillip worked across finance, risk and business banking departments.
Phillip loves to work with organisations focused on driving positive social and environmental change in the world and, through finance, helping to scale the impact they can have. He is a qualified chartered accountant with Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and a trustee for a Bristol-based charity providing alms housing.
Roshan Bharwani - Co-founder, Venture Advisor & Transformation Consultant
Roshan is a seasoned business leader in banking & capital markets transformation. Over her 16 year career at JPMorgan and other firms she has led several award winning transformation initiatives including large, multi-year programs with extensive budgets. She specializes in building and scaling product solutions while leading diverse, global teams with industry leading best practices. She now leverages her experience to re-shape and innovate in traditional industries using the power of new technologies like Web3, AI, ML. She focuses on projects in DeFi, sustainability and ESG using blockchains and those that use decentralisation as a concept for improving parity in society. Roshan has advised pre-seed startups in Web3 through venture capital platforms & academia and is also building her own project related to objective measurements of gender diversity and governance. She was associated with Blockchain Founders Group VC incubator & DLT Talents program (Frankfurt school of business). She is a strong advocate for women in STEM, mentoring the next generation & actively promoting them to take up roles in new and challenging sectors and sustainability.
Elliott Bray - Founding Partner - Estia Wealth LLP
With over a decade of experience in wealth management, Elliott specialises in working with high-net-worth investors, offering tailored advice and guidance on achieving financial freedom through ESG-positive investments. His expertise spans tax-advantaged solutions and portfolio building, with a strong focus on aligning investments with clients’ ESG and carbon reduction goals. Elliott is also committed to educating investors on integrating ESG factors into their investment decisions and effectively selecting and monitoring external managers. Elliott recently played a pivotal role in assisting the UK's smallest independent veterinary group in structuring the sale of practices via MBOs and employee ownership trusts. Elliott is a passionate marathon runner, having recently completed his 5th marathon in Vienna. He is now preparing for an ambitious challenge: a 100km race in May 2025 to raise funds for Hope and Homes for Children, a cause close to his heart.
Jude Brooks - Social Purpose and Marketing Consultant
Jude Brooks is an award-winning business leader and social intrapreneur with an extensive track record of delivering transformative initiatives that generate substantial commercial outcomes alongside meaningful social impact. With over 30 years' experience in customer-centric organisations including Coca-Cola and Tesco, Jude now helps responsible companies unlock the business case for social purpose and empowers NGOs to amplify their commercial reach. During her five-year tenure leading CSR at Aviva, Jude unified all social impact activities under a cohesive communications and impact framework, developing programmes supporting environmental and financial wellbeing outcomes. As Vice-Chair of Citizens Advice North Herts, she led the creation of a three-year strategic plan, and serves as a Board Advisor at BERRI, a clinical evaluation tool for children with complex needs. Driven by a passion for balancing profit and purpose, Jude asks the tough questions needed to achieve meaningful, systemic change.
Alice Chapple - Founder - Impact Value
Alice Chapple is a sustainable finance and impact expert with over 30 years of experience. Through her company, Impact Value, she advises funds, financial institutions, and companies on integrating social and environmental impact into their financial strategies. She also collaborates with NGOs to promote systemic change. Alice serves as Development Impact Advisor for Gridworks and FSD Africa, focusing on capital flows and energy infrastructure in Africa. She designed and teaches Cambridge University's Sustainable Finance course. Alice holds various roles, including Director at Schroders BSC Social Impact Trust, Non-Executive Director at I(X) Net Zero, and Chair of the Tracker Group. She is also involved with advisory and investment committees for WHEB Asset Management, Acre Impact Capital, and the Development Guarantee Group. Previously, Alice was Director of Sustainable Financial Markets at Forum for the Future and worked at BII, developing ESG tools and impact frameworks. She has an MA in Economics from Cambridge and is a chartered accountant.
Rachel Crossley - Head of Stewardship, Europe - BNP Paribas Asset Management (BNPP AM)
Rachel is Head of Stewardship for Europe at BNPP AM, which had €591 billion in assets under management at the end of September 2024. She has more than 30 years of wide-ranging international experience at the intersection of sustainability, development and responsible investment. Her role includes engaging with European companies to drive better policy, practice and disclosure on a wide range of sustainability issues, as well as voting at their annual meetings. Rachel represents BNPP AM in several key investor networks. She is co-chair of the Climate Action 100+ Climate Lobbying Working Group, and a member of the IIGCC Corporate Programme Advisory Group, the Steering Committee of the Investor Initiative on Hazardous Chemicals (IIHC) and the Access to Nutrition Initiative (ATNI) Expert Group. She has also held numerous roles as a Board trustee and committee member of several not-for-profit organisations.
Ivana Gazibara - Director, Systemic Investment Programmes - TransCap Initiative
Ivana is a director at the TransCap Initiative, an open innovation non-profit focused on building the field of systemic investing, where her work focuses on investment vehicle strategy and design. Ivana has a background in foresight and systems change, with more than 15 years of experience in sustainability strategy and innovation. She has previously led Forum for the Future’s futures practice, and incubated and led The Futures Centre, the only open, participatory futures platform focused on advancing a sustainable future. Ivana has an MSc in Development Management from the London School of Economics and a BA in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Toronto.

Adam Jackson - Chief Strategy Officer - Innovate Finance
As Chief Strategy Officer at Innovate Finance, the FinTech trade association, Adam sits at the heart of the UK FinTech ecosystem and leads strategy, policy and engagement of industry, government and regulators across innovation in financial services. His career in the private and public sector has included advising Fair4All Finance on their financial inclusion strategy and developing net zero strategies and programmes for financial services trade associations, including London and International Insurance Brokers Association. At Grant Thornton he led a transformation programme, putting sustainability at the heart of the business: increasing brand consideration by 60%; replacing 20% of profits with new clients and services in 2 years. He established Tesco’s climate change programme, including rollout of the world's first major carbon labelling on in-store products and set up the Sustainable Consumption Institute with Manchester University. He is an active member of the Project Perseus steering board (developing automated emissions reporting for SMEs), a member of the Bank of England’s Central Bank Digital Currency engagement panel, HM Treasury’s National Payment Vision Engagement Group and the UK Government’s Smart Data Council.
Celeste Leverton - Lead of Responsible Investing Integration and Client Specialist - Coutts & Co.
Celeste is an award-winning ESG professional. At Coutts, she's accountable for: presenting at prospecting and existing client meetings to provide subject matter expertise, leading the development and implementation of ESG strategies, overseeing strategic partnerships (making up c.50% AuM) and responsibility for the firm's stewardship activity. She is also the face of the RI team, representing the firm in industry working groups, engagement activities and speaking at external events. Formerly, she led Coutts through B Corp process and achieved status as the “1st UK HQ’d Private Bank” to become certified. Celeste is furthering her expertise through a Master’s in Sustainability Leadership at the University of Cambridge, demonstrating her dedication to continuous learning and leadership in this field.

Sthembile Nkabinde - Advisory Committee Member - HBS Angels of the UK
Sthembile is a chartered accountant and Harvard Business School alumna. She has 12 years of experience in M&A, Leveraged Finance and Private Equity. Sthembile founded a Private Equity entity alongside Investec which she ran for 7 years and where she invested in businesses with a value of close to £400 million. A significant portion of the returns for this fund were earmarked for social initiatives focussed on educational and entrepreneurial initiatives. She is now an angel investor focussed on female and underrepresented founders, a member of the advisory committee for the Harvard Business School Angels Alumni of the UK and a mentor for organisations like Google for Start-ups. Sthembile is a qualified yoga teacher, loves to travel, nature and reading.
Martin Rich - Co-Founder & CEO - Future-Fit Foundation
Martin is a sustainability and impact investment specialist, with over 25 years’ experience in both mainstream and social investment. He co-founded Future-Fit Foundation over 10 years ago with a vision of helping create a society which is environmentally restorative, socially just and economically inclusive. He previously spent 7 years as Sales Director at Social Finance Ltd, where he focused on developing the investor base for social impact investments. Martin holds a number of senior non-executive and advisory roles, including for Access Foundation and WHEB Asset Management, and was formerly a member of the Asset Allocation Working Group for the G7 Social Investment Task Force.
Susan May Robbie - Sustainability and Communications Consultant - dDigital
Susie is passionate about empowering disadvantaged people, particularly youth, through education and employment opportunities. A former corporate lawyer, she led Social Investment at Investec plc, where she developed award-winning community programs and engaged employees in impactful volunteering and fundraising. Susie also served on the bank’s Gender Diversity Steering Committee. She has experience as a corporate fundraising manager for a children’s charity, securing significant partnerships with major firms like Bank of America and Goldman Sachs. Now a business owner and Sustainability and Communications Consultant, Susie helps corporates achieve their purpose by unlocking ESG opportunities and balancing impacts on people and the planet. As an experienced B Corp B Leader with an MBA Essentials certificate from LSE, she advises businesses on aligning core values, enhancing employee engagement, and building community partnerships. Susie also serves as a non-executive director of the Diversity Trust social enterprise and is a trustee for Care for Wild UK.
Louisiana Salge - Head of Sustainability - EQ Investors
As Head of Sustainability, Louisiana is responsible for innovating EQ’s approach to sustainable investing. Louisiana also oversees EQ’s ESG and impact integration strategy across all assets, EQ’s stewardship strategy, and sustainability data reporting. She joined EQ in October 2018 after completing a masters in sustainable business at Imperial College London, and has held prior positions of Impact Specialist and Senior Sustainability Specialist at EQ. Previously, Louisiana graduated from UCL with a BSc in Geography and spent a year working for a Cleantech innovation research company before starting her masters. She now also holds the CFA IMC and CFA ESG Investing qualification.
